Lady's Seat Yercaud is a view point formed by the cluster of rocks which when viewed forms a seat on the south west of Shevaroy Hills. It is just 2 km from the yercaud bus stand. It is one of the major view points in this region. This view point offers great view of Salem city, 32 km loop road and Mettur dam.
It got its name from the natural rock formation. Also it is believed that during british era white English lady visits this point for watching beautiful panoramic views during evening.
There is a watch tower at this view point which is equipped with the telescope through which you can view the Salem city and Mettur. Also at night you can watch spectacular view as thousands of light flickers from Salem City.
You can easily visit this place as this is well connected through roads. You can grab an auto or you can just walk to this point.
You can also visit Gent's Seat and Children seat which are another view points at some distance from this.
