Located just 7 km from Yercaud Lake, Lalitha Tripurasundari Temple Nagalore is home of world's largest Sri Chakra Maha Meru. It is a three dimensional pyramid structure which when viewed from the top takes the form of Srichakra. When you worship the Goddess Lalitha and Srichakra it is believed to be equivalent of worshipping the divine one. The sanctum sanctorum is made with white marble and there is small pit filled with water. People says that if you throw a coin in pit then devotees wish will come true.
Goddess Lalitha Tripurasundari is the main diety of this temple, Lalitha means one who plays the role of creater, protector and destroyer. Tripura means three worlds and Sundari means beautiful. The most beautiful form in the three world is sitting in this beautiful temple to grant wishes for those who seeks her. Worshipping Srichakra includes all gods and goddesses, there are three wooden carvings of Urthuva Thandava Moorthy, Saraswathi and Vishwaroopam Moorthy, each being 10 feet high. There is shrine of Guru Dakshinamoorthy surrounded by grass and flowers.
